Stall Holder Information

GLENBROOK Rotary Markets Stall Holder Information:

All prospective stall holders need to apply in writing. Please read the following information and confirm you have read and understood these important points before completing the application form.

Glenbrook Rotary markets are run by the Lower Blue Mountains Rotary club as a community service and to help fund various Rotary projects locally and internationally. Funds are also raised for Glenbrook Infants and Primary schools.
All members involved in the running of these markets are volunteers so please be patient if there is a delay in communication. We aim to have a relaxed and friendly yet efficiently organised market.
Glenbrook Rotary market is predominantly a craft and produce market with a range of quality products for sale. A variety of stallholders are desired to help ensure a good range of product is available for sale. No stall holder will have a monopoly on any one type of goods. If your item would be acceptable to sell at the market, however currently other stalls offer similar goods, you may be placed on a waiting list until a vacancy arises. Decisions are made in the best interest of the market and we reserve the right to withdraw approval for stalls at our discretion.
Approval is provisional for the first two months.
If approval is given to a stall holder, any change in produce from that stated on the original approved application must be applied for in writing before being offered for sale.
To sell food at the market you must understand your obligation for health & safety issues, see “Selling food” notes.
Site fees are $45 for a 3 x 3m stall. If available a larger stall may be negotiated. Each stall must be covered by public liability insurance in the stall holders name or company name and we require a copy. If you do not have insurance you can be covered by our policy at an extra charge of $10, making a total of $55. Fees will be collected during the morning, correct change would be appreciated.
The markets are held every third Saturday of the month except January. We require notice if you are unable to attend. If that notice is not given you may lose your normal stall position or asked to pay in advance in future. Advanced payments would not be returnable.

At present we do not have power available to stall holders. All stalls are outside and you will need to provide your own table and covering. Markets are held during wet weather. If conditions become dangerous, e.g. high winds and storms we may close the market.
All numbered sites are allocated before market day. Stall holders are required to book in and confirm their site at the Ross St entrance. Gates are opened soon after 6am and depending where the allocated site is vehicles may be driven onto site to unload only. Please remove all vehicles by 7.00am. The markets normally run from 8.30 – 2pm and you may be able to bring in your vehicle to load up after 2pm. Please park sensibly and take note of any parking restrictions as you may be booked. If you are able to park away from the market that would encourage customers to visit the market.
All stall holders should respect the grounds of the school and remove all garbage from the school premises when they leave.
